Did you know that eyelash extensions come in many different thicknesses from 0.03 to 0.20mm? So, how do you know which is the best one to use? 

0.03: For mega volume sets (10D-14D or above)

0.03 diameter lashes are the thinnest lashes you can get. They’re so fine that we recommend you handle them really gently to prevent them from being bent or damaged. In fact, 14D 0.03 lashes are lighter than one 0.15 classic lash!

0.05: For full volume sets (5D-10D)

0.05mm thickness lashes are perfect to create a full volume set. They are a bit thicker than 0.03, so are easier to handle, but still very lightweight. So, feel free to use these for 5D, 8D, or 10D volume lashes. 0.05 lashes result in a very full look that is soft and fluffy at the same time.

0.07 For light volume sets (3D-6D)

0.07 is the diameter most commonly used for creating light volume sets. Lash artists love 0.07 lashes, like 3D, 5D and 6D, as they’re very easy to use

Set Aside Enough Time

Your first eyelash extension appointment can take anywhere from an hour and a half to three hours, depending on the style of lashes you’re having done.

Come With a Bare Face

Hygiene is paramount for ensuring a successful lash application. Eye makeup residue can prevent your lash extensions from adhering properly, but beyond that, we simply don’t want any makeup getting in your eyes during the appointment. 

Take a Morning Shower

After your lash extension appointment, you’ll need to avoid getting your lashes wet for at least 4 hours. So do yourself a favor and take a shower in the morning, before the appointment.

Avoid Oily Skincare or Makeup

Avoid wearing any heavy eye creams or oily sunscreens on the day of your appointment. Your lash technician will wipe the area around your eyes before they get started, but you want to totally eliminate any chances of oily residue sticking around. 

Wear Comfy Clothing

During your lash extension appointment, you have full freedom to nap, meditate, or simply relax. For that to happen, though, you need to feel as comfortable as possible.
